Apartment dwellers know the struggle of not being able to modify their space as much as they would like. I used contact paper to update the cabinets and shuffled where things were being stored to have better flow. Contact paper can be pulled off and thrown away if you move so you can get your security deposit back while keeping the cabinet shelves and doors clean. I am blown away with the results!!

Supplies used:

Scissors, Contact Paper, Measuring tape

Pro tip: measure the contact paper and cut the size needed before trying to apply. Cutting afterwards is messy and frustrating! Pull apart the backing and the contact paper from the top down about 3 inches and then stop. Apply the contact paper to the top edges of the cabinet and press to seal. Now just pull the backing down and off the contact paper and press down as go.
